Located in Mount Pleasant at 5th and Ontario, steps from dozens of cafes, restaurants, bars, and more, is a new home for creators in Vancouver.

With 3 different options of spaces to choose from, we have something for every type of artisan looking to rent space.

24/7 secure access, free coffee, tea, a common lounge with views of the North Shore, these are just some of the amazing benefits we offer at our brand new Mount Pleasant artisan studio spaces.

With room for 30 makers, it’s your chance to work alongside with other amazing creatives and get your business out of your living room!

The Details / FAQ

  • All Memberships have a 3 month initial commitment, and then move to month-to-month. 30 days notice is required in order to terminate your membership.

  • Insurance is required for anyone renting a space or studio at the Makers Studio. Details can be found in the application below.

  • There will be restrictions for some types of crafts and tools. For example no woodworking with power tools, no working with products that produce heavy toxic fumes or use dangerous chemicals, no metalwork & welding, no glassblowing, etc. If you unsure if your craft is approved, please apply and we will get back to you!

  • If you rent a 1/2 studio, you can put a divider up between you and the other 1/2 studio occupying the space.

  • There will be free coffee (Nespresso) and tea + kettles available for all members. (within reason, if you drink 10 coffees a day a limit may be placed upon you!)

  • There is a loading bay that may be used for immediate loading & unloading, however there is no free parking on the premises.

  • There will be a sound-insulated room for you to use if you are making excess noise.

  • 24/7 Access will be provided through Active Witness, you will get an account to log into their app which generates the QR code that allows you to enter through the front and rear door. (QR codes refresh every 30 seconds for maximum security)

  • Gigabit high-speed wifi is included.

  • Garbage, Recycling, and other utilities are all included.
